Responsibilities

• Assist in theoretical research on innovative materials

• Handling material inventory (move 25kg material if needed)

• Mix chemicals under instruction (mainly additives of plastics)

• Operate extruder to compound mixture of various plastics and additive

• Maintenance of the extruder and auxiliary equipment regularly, including cleaning after use

• Record daily consumption of chemicals and compounding parameters

• Operate melt flow index testing equipment if needed

• Assist to maintain good laboratory environment

• Participate in Team projects with Material Team and other colleagues

• Travel to China and Southeast Asia plants if needed

• Report to Material Specialist

Requirements

• ⁠Bachelor Degree or above in Applied Chemistry / Material Science / Chemical Engineering / Polymer Engineering or other relevant disciplines

• ⁠At least 2 years experience in Plastic Extrusion

• Very Organized, Tidy and willing to learn

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical mind

• Attentive to details, self-motivated and result-oriented

• Proficient in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

• Comouter skills in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Power point

• Immediate available is highly preferred
