Responsibilities

• Liaise with local Buying team to define new product development

• Design outfits of baby dolls, fashion dolls, and plush assortments

• Creative drawings to transfer new product ideas

• Manage product development of new items from first sketch to hand samples/prototypes

• Handle fabrics, trims and accessories sourcing

• Provide directions and ideas on all design issues including costing, fashion trench research on colors, fabrication and accessories, etc.

• Assist in ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Ideally with 1-2 years of experience in a fashion design / textile design role/Toy Industry.

• Strong technical skills in sketching, pattern making, and fabric knowledge

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines

• A creative and innovative mindset, with a keen eye for emerging trends, colors, materials and styles

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
