Responsibilities

• Costing, sampling, merchandising, production control and order follow-up

• Responsible for fabric development and counter sourcing of woven and jersey knit fabrics

• Work closely with fabric suppliers to understand their expertise, strength and weaknesses, improving their capabilities and build strong working relationships

• Follow up critical process of sample yardage ordering to ensure readiness for making proto /SMS samples timely

• Work closely with internal Testing and QA team to solve any fabric issues

• Able to identify risk and provide solutions for potential fabric issues

• Attend fabric fairs and regular visit to fabric mills to bring in newness and market intelligence

• Maintain the fabric library with important fabric specs and details

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• At least 5 years releva

• Must have good understanding of fabric technical knowledge in both woven and knits

• Strong in global sourcing network

• Strong negotiation skills, mature and able to work independently

• Able to work under pressure & capable to solve problems with Mainland/ Offshore vendors

• Good team player and strong interpersonal skills required as need to be dealing with various internal departments and suppliers

• Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua (Vietnamese is preferred)

• Proficient in PC applications (Excel, Word, Power point etc.)

• Requires candidate to station in Vietnam factory (Hanoi)

• Immediate available is highly preferred
