Organization has received funding from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to launch the “C for Chinese @ JC Project.” The program aims to enhance the Chinese language proficiency of non-Chinese-speaking kindergarten students through collaborations with kindergartens, universities, and social welfare organizations. Now hiring Multicultural Service Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, recruiting and implementing Chinese learning and integration program for non-Chinese speaking kindergarten/primary students and parents.
- To keep a good relationship with non-Chinese speaking family and strengthen the network in district.
- To assist social worker and teacher to carry out the services.
- To station at school or service unit from time to time as and when required.
- Outdoor work and on-shift work are required.
Requirements:
- F6 or above.
- Fluent in English (with native proficiency in Urdu, Nepali or Hindi is preferred).
- Passionate on serving non-Chinese speaking communities.
- Good interpersonal skills, friendly, self-motivated, open-minded & positive attitude.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Sexual Conviction Record Check is required.
Working hours: 44 hours per week
Working Place: Kwai Chung
Salary: Depends on qualification and experience.
