Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tender Engineer to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage tender submissions, including technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they meet client specifications and requirements.
- Conduct detailed cost estimation, including materials, manpower, equipment, and other project costs, to develop competitive bid prices.
- Identify potential risks in tender processes and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as design, engineering, project management, and commercial departments to ensure accurate and feasible tender proposals.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and quotations to support tender submissions.
- Perform competitor analysis to assess market trends and adjust bid strategies accordingly.
- Provide technical support to internal departments, ensuring that tender documents accurately reflect project requirements and execution plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tendering, estimating, or similar roles within the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, particularly in cost estimation and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
