Technical Services Engineer (Tooling Management)

What You'll Do

• Provide technical support to the Maintenance Division staff.

• Liaison with customers on technical matters.

• Organize and monitor tooling-related projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

• Coordinate with aircraft manufacturers, airlines, and tooling OEMs on related matters.

• Review, develop, and update internal tooling policies and instructions to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Prepare engineering documents in compliance with the company and regulatory requirements.


What You'll Need

1. Technical and other Relevant Experience

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in aircraft maintenance tooling management or a related field

• Experience in evaluating alternative aircraft tooling

Key Skills:

• Strong supervisory abilities

• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills

• Sound business acumen and project management skills.

 

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

Qualifications:

• Tertiary degree in engineering or relevant discipline

Desired Experience and Knowledge:

• Advanced knowledge of computer software is preferred

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, including understanding of formulas and filters (ability to perform complex data lookup and manipulation is an advantage)

• Programming background (e.g., Python), database experience (e.g., SQL), and understanding of data schemas (e.g., XML) and regular expressions are advantageous
