Our client is a renowned property developer with significant shopping malls in Hong Kong. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join their management team. As an Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing architectural / Interior design projects from conception to completion. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of our property development initiatives while ensuring adherence to architectural standards, regulations, and project timelines.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively implement corrective measures to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Collaborate with architects and design teams to develop innovative and aesthetically pleasing architectural designs that align with project objectives.
  • Review and provide input on architectural drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess construction progress, address design-related challenges, and ensure adherence to approved architectural plans.
  • Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Monitor project expenses, review contractor invoices, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality and design standards.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure designs, materials, and construction methods meet the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and collaborate with quality control teams to address any deviations or deficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and provide timely updates on project progress.
  • Facilitate effective decision-making by presenting architectural design options, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design/ Architecture or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an  Project Manager in the property development industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of design principles, building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in architectural software and project management tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to project management.
