Our client is a global financial services firm; they are now looking for a System Analyst to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop system applications.
Oversee the entire application development lifecycle, from gathering user requirements to program launch.
Gather and analyze user requirements, perform system functional design, ensure application quality assurance, and arrange user acceptance testing (UAT).
Collaborate with a team of system analysts to ensure that the application is developed in accordance with functional and programming specifications.
Ensure that IT security controls and regulatory compliance requirements are integrated into the relevant system development processes.
Lead and manage assigned IT projects.

Qualifications:

A university degree or higher diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Prior experience in the financial / banking business is highly desirable.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in application development.
Proficient in functional design, database design, and project management.
Knowledge of programming languages such as JAVA or RPG is preferred.
Experience with modern development frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and DevSecOps is preferred.
Strong analytical thinking, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in a team and a strong sense of responsibility.
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
