Assistant Finance Manager (property)

Our client is a listed property group. They are looking for a diligent and self-motivated individual to perform GL accounting operations of the property development business.

* General ledger accounting
* Candidate with a property background is highly desired
* Professional qualifications such as ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent



Responsibilities:

* Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes for accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
* Maintain general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliations under supervision
* Supervise journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

* Assist in coordinating auditing matters with external auditors, tax department and other government bureaux
* Perform updates on accounting standards to ensure compliance of corporate policies and statutory requirements
* Support ad hoc assignments



Requirements:

* A bachelor's degree in accounting or related disciplines, with professional qualifications such as ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent
* At least five years of accounting experience, preferably working in the property developer industry
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a growth mindset
* Proactive attitude and good interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills, good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
