General Responsibilities (NET):

• Alongside the unique English through Football program listed below, you will also be normal English lessons, predominantly around Phonics, English language rules, and conversational practice.

• This includes, planning and teaching English to second language learners of all ages but mostly 6 to 18 years old.

Specific Opportunity Responsibilities (English Through Football):

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that integrate football-related themes and vocabulary.

• Conduct football training sessions that promote both athletic skills and English language proficiency.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and teamwork.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance language learning.

• Collaborate with other educators to create interdisciplinary opportunities that connect football and language skills.

• Build the English Through Football Program into a Hong Kong wide initiative with multiple locations and teachers.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Experience in teaching English as a second language (ESL) or similar educational settings.

• Strong background in football (playing or coaching experience preferred).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for teaching and promoting sportsmanship among students.

• A business background would be helpful to understand the needs in order to grow the teaching program.
