• Description:

• Our client, a well-known international company, is now looking for Cloud System Support Specialist join within their team.
•  

• manage the PCS including servers, storages, load balancers, and sub-systems;
• perform capacity planning for PCS;
• perform regular maintenance and patch management of the PCS;
• research on new functions and features for enhancing service delivery and user experience;
• assist Office Automation (OA) Services support team in handling daily operations;
• troubleshoot system incidents and user support cases;
• provide second-line support to Help Desk in handling PCS related user requests or enquiries;
• assist in Disaster Recovery plans;
• participate in PCS system related projects; technical research and proof-of-concept work; and
• maintain documentations/manuals of systems, such as installation/configuration procedures, technical specifications, operation procedures, disaster recovery procedures, and etc.
• 3.2 Main responsibilities
• check system healthiness and performance on a daily basis;
• perform system monitoring and tuning, system administration and housekeeping activities;
• conduct patch review and annual patch management exercise;
• perform system upgrade or enhancements;
• troubleshoot system incidents and is responsible for problem diagnostics and escalation to vendors;
• develop system scripts for automation of system operations;
• develop Disaster Recovery procedures and participate in annual BCP drills;
• develop system administrative procedure, operation instructions and other related documentation;
• provide support to other IT teams on daily system administration and testing;
• prepare system usage and performance reports; and
• provide 24x7 on-call standby services and work irregular hours as directed by the HKMA when needed.

• minimum three years of solid experience in operating systems, and software listed in paragraph 2 of Annex 1; and
• minimum two years of relevant working experience in supporting information systems in financial institutions.
• minimum one year of solid hands-on experience in managing cloud platform.
