Responsibilities:

• Support month end closing of HK, Macau, US and PRC companies and supervise other overseas subsidiaries for preparation of group consolidation on a timely and accurate manner; 

• Manage and comply with local and group tax, secretarial and finance related matters;

• Prepare financial schedules, analysis and reporting for management use and/or group requirements;

• Supervise daily operations of accounting team in HK, Macau and PRC;

• Maintain, comply, develop and implement accounting policies in line with the group policies;

• Assist, monitor and provide technical guidance to local/overseas subordinates for financial reporting;

• Manage intra-group transactions with overseas group companies and/or related companies;

• Improve and enhance internal controls (and other corporate governance requirements) on the accounting process, secretarial matters and financial reporting of the group;

• Liaise with external auditors and other professionals for audit, tax, secretarial and other compliance matters; and

• Participate in ad-hoc projects or other finance related matters.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant with degree in Accounting or Finance; 

• At least 5 years finance, accounting and / or auditing experience with 2 years in supervisor or management level;

• Big Four or international audit firm experience is an advantage;

• Solid knowledges of International and / or HK Financial Reporting Standards and local statutory requirements; 

• Proactive, good communication and interpersonal skill and a good team player; 

• Strong analytical and time management approach, hardworking and willing to work under pressure; 

• Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese; 

• Occasional travel is required; and

• Immediately available preferred but not a must.
