Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Safety Officer to join our team, a leading developer in the residential construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management and a proven track record of working on new build residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures specific to new build residential projects.
• Provide safety training and guidance to site personnel to promote a culture of safety.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure safety measures are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Registered Safety Officer with a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience.
• Proven experience in new build residential projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong safety legislation and construction site safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant safety certifications are an advantage.
• Both written and spoken Chinese AND English is a must.
