Responsibilities:

• Work as “business partner” of the Global IT Community to address emerging technology risks

• Provide ongoing insights on key IT developments which may impact on the annual audit plan

• Develop risk-based audit programs to evaluate the risks and controls over the Group’s IT operations

• Empower business auditors with technological insights and support operational audits with analysis using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

• Identify key IT risks, report audit findings promptly to management, and provide practical solutions that address the root of the issues

• Conduct regular follow-up on rectification progress of audit findings, assess residual risk and step in to drive remediation when necessary

• Assess technology risks on new systems and perform pre & post implementation audits where necessary

• Conduct non-assurance ad-hoc projects and consultation service when necessary 

Requirements:

• University Degree in Technology or related discipline, with CISA-qualified /other key technology certifications

• At least 7 years of IT audit experience in multi-national companies / Big-4 accounting firms / cybersecurity consultancies

• Specialized expertise in (1) latest cybersecurity trends and (2) audit in IT areas such as networks (e.g. firewalls, routers, switches), operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX), databases (MS-SQL, Oracle), mainframe (AS/400), security software, client-server technology, etc.

• Well-versed in latest technology trends and risk factors

• Well-versed in audit analytics; proficiencies in data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.) would be an advantage

• Proficiencies in (1) Database query language (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.) and (2) AI tools would be additional advantages

• Excellent command of English and Chinese, with seasoned communication and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity

• Self-motivated, able to multi-task and take ownership of issues and initiatives

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Willing to travel
