We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Event Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing a wide range of events from conception through to completion. The successful candidate must be an effective communicator, and possess excellent organizational and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage events, including conferences, corporate events, carnival, annual dinner and other special occasions
Develop event concepts and themes in collaboration with clients or management
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure all arrangements are in place
Manage event budgets and resources effectively
Oversee event set-up, execution, and breakdown to ensure everything runs smoothly
Handle any troubleshooting or problems that arise on the event day
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess successes and areas for improvement
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role
*less experience will be considered as Assistant Event Manager
2-3 years of experience specifically in an event agency or similar fast-paced environment
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
