A leading Company in Hong Kong, they are looking for Automotive Engineering Manager (~45k, Fleet management)

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead initiatives to optimize fleet efficiency, safety, and reliability through strategic partnerships and continuous communication with manufacturers.
• Act as the primary engineering liaison with the Transport Department, ensuring projects and type approval applications meet regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations.
• Oversee new vehicle tenders from inception to completion, leading the seamless delivery process of new vehicle.
• Direct key fleet modification campaigns, ensuring compliance with industry and legal standards while enhancing passenger experience and operational efficiency.
• Establish and uphold technical standards and excellence.
• Pave the way for innovation in new products, safety measures, and technology.
• Foster a culture of unwavering commitment to health and safety, engineering legislation, and company policies.
• Cultivate seamless collaboration through effective communication with colleagues.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of engineering records, maintaining high documentation standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in fleet management, vehicle engineering, or maintenance workshop operations.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and teams concurrently.
• Familiarity with local regulations such as the Road Traffic Ordinance, type approval processes, and fleet modification programs.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at effective liaison with government bodies, internal teams, and external partners.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
