Our client is a rapidly growing bank seeking a high-calibre candidate to lead payment processing and operations.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee local and global remittance and payment processing via FPS, RTGS, and SWIFT.
* Manage dispute resolution processes, including chargebacks, to ensure timely and equitable outcomes for all parties.
* Monitor transaction activities to swiftly identify and resolve discrepancies or issues.
* Collaborate with internal teams to enhance transaction processes and boost customer satisfaction.
* Maintain comprehensive records of transactions, disputes, and chargebacks for compliance and reporting purposes.
* Analyze and optimize payment workflows and supervise payment screening and reconciliation activities to improve operational efficiency.
* Develop and implement operational guidelines, ensuring daily activities comply with regulations.
* Participate in ISO 20022 projects to enhance payment processes and identify system improvements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in payment operations within the banking industry, including managerial experience.
* Strong understanding of payment systems such as FPS, RTGS, SWIFT, and chargeback processes.
* Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in MS Office applications and payment processing software.
* Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and demonstrate strong leadership abilities.
