Responsibilities

• Lead the team at a group level to develop and implement a data and analytics vision that supports strategic and tactical business initiatives across all regions. This includes creating and managing data and analytics strategies, establishing data governance processes, and transforming the data foundation to achieve measurable business outcomes.
• Oversee the development of data models and AI products, ensuring the effective utilization of AI capabilities. Manage the company's data-driven innovation and analytics initiatives, with a focus on accelerating digital transformation and delivering value that aligns with strategic business objectives.
• Build partnerships with executives and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize their needs, emphasizing business outcomes and enabling functions that maximize the value derived from data and AI, while ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Create and manage a centralized data governance and management service for group-level consistency, along with decentralized data stewardship for business-level agility. Ensure data quality, traceability, timeliness, usability, and cost-effectiveness across the organization to support both strategic and operational requirements.
• Establish and maintain trust in data assets by implementing governance mechanisms for data and algorithms used in reporting, analysis, and automated decision-making.
• Set, monitor, and act on key performance metrics and objectives to ensure the successful execution of data and AI initiatives. Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to data ethics standards across regions to mitigate risks and enhance trust.
• Promote a data-driven culture by developing and nurturing talent in data and analytics. Lead transformation efforts to enhance the company’s data and analytics capabilities, fostering data literacy, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team for long-term success and adaptability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in data domains such as BI analytics, data products, data science and modeling, and data architecture. Experience in the retail, luxury, FMCG/consumer goods, or banking industries is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide data and analytics programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive and business stakeholders and drive transformation through data-driven insights and data literacy development.
• Proficiency in strategic business and technology planning, with expertise in leading regulatory and compliance programs related to data and analytics methodologies.
• Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, as well as designing strategic metrics and scorecards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a familiarity in business information generation and analysis methods. Ability to conceptualize new ideas for future products and services.
