Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, escalate and remediate data issues that negatively impact surveillance scenarios and surveillance reviews;
- Review data for surveillance, escalating and resolving data quality issues including remediation of regulatory commitments;
- Perform daily AML/CFT transaction monitoring function; review transaction monitoring alerts and conduct investigations
- Follow up and evaluate the key regulatory/HQ requirement relating to transaction monitoring
- Assist FCC team lead to review suspicious transaction reports, liaise with Joint Financial Intelligence Unit (JFIU) and file STR reports to JFIU when necessary
- Generating reports, performing data analysis, and providing troubleshooting support on multiple projects;
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualification:
- Bachelor degree or above in Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management, Law or related disciplines
- Five years or above experience in risk, legal or compliance management roles with exposure in financial crime compliance
- Must be familiar with financial crime related laws and regulations, and be familiar with financial institution business and operational procedures
- The ideal candidate has a recognized Anti-Money Laundering Qualification (CAMS) or Certified Financial Crime Specialist or equivalent
- Mature, thoughtful, and strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Work actively, meticulously, patient and have team cooperation spirit - Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to continuously learn and understand financial crimes and related trends and concerns
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good communication and writing skills in both Chinese and English
- Organized and disciplined, able to meet tight deadlines
