Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, organizing and leading a Building Maintenance Team of Front Line Maintenance in Urban Line to implement the maintenance activities for all the Facility Maintenance assets / systems for Architectural Builder's Work and Finishes (ABWF) within the responsible area to ensure the equipment and facilities in stations and ancillary buildings are functioning to the required standard

• Conduct technical investigation on equipment failure, analysis on maintenance requirement and make recommendation to improve the performance level and long term remedial/modifications

• Manage, supervise and monitor the performance of maintenance service contractors and C&R works implementation in accordance with the contractual requirements

• Conduct financial expenses and budgetary issues of responsible maintenance zone for maintenance related activities and resources in terms of manpower planning and arrange staff roster plan

• Support asset condition and capability assessment and propose improvement initiative for uplifting the performance equipment

Requirements

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Engineering discipline or equivalent

• A minimum of 8 years’ post-graduate relevant experience of which 3 years should be at supervisory level

• Good knowledge of general engineering practices, preferably with practical experience in multi-engineering disciplines

• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills are essential
