The appointee will be assigned to the Centre’s Cloud Computing Services and be responsible for
(a) managing computer systems for administrative and/or academic units;
(b) providing on-site technical user support and preparing user documents;
(c) co-ordinating computer system upgrades and performing system maintenance; and
(d) performing other duties as assigned. Working beyond office hours will be required for system upgrade and maintenance.
Applicants should have
(i) a Higher Certificate/Diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines from a recognised technical institute or university;
(ii) at least 2 years’ work experience in supporting Microsoft Windows server platform;
(iii) sound knowledge of Windows desktop and Microsoft 365;
(iv) good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(v) self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Possession of Microsoft certifications is preferred. Having knowledge of Macintosh desktop support will be an advantage.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
