Job Description:
We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyors at all levels to join our dynamic team in the main contractor sector. We have opportunities available for Junior, Mid-level, and Senior Quantity Surveyors, allowing candidates at different stages of their career to contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Conduct regular cost analysis, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and variations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation of contract documents and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on project cost performance, cost forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve contractual and financial issues.
Qualifications:
Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office suite.
Mid-level Quantity Surveyor:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and quantity surveying tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, contract administration, and risk management.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and leading a team of quantity surveyors.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software, quantity surveying tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
