Responsibilities

• Draft patterns for new styles based on sketches or inspiration images

• Utilize proven blocks to maintain fit consistency in new styles

• Assist 3D cad artists to adjust patterns as needed to show good fit and match design intent for styles

• Create tech packs based on approved styles, including measurements, grading and construction details. 

• Maintain style and block pattern libraries

• Create new block patterns as needed 

• Interact daily with Design and Technical teams

 
Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• 5 years’ experience in 2D Patternmaking and technical Design

• 5 years’ experience with 3D programs, CLO or Browzwear preferred

• Ability to review and analyze patterns to correct balance and identify issues

• Good verbal and written communication skills required

• Ability to instruct and train others on basic pattern corrections

• Computer proficiency with; Microsoft office, Excel, Illustrator and PLM

• Excellent organizational skills
