Responsibilities

• Close collaboration with our sales team, R&D team, customers and factories to develop new products for different markets

• Conduct general market and design research for potential product ideas, play features and toy trends

• Brainstorm, propose and develop design concepts (for both boys and girls between 1 and 8 years of age)

• Communicate through design sketching and rendering, model making and 3D prints

• Provide technical drawings in 2D and 3D, color information, functional diagrams, label designs as well as other design related materials

• Handle project management and ensure proper documentation

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Minimum 3 years of toys design experiences (Boy Toys is an advantage)

• Strong design communication skills such as sketching and 2D visualization

• Proficient in ADOBE package and at least one 3D software

• Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing process and how to apply design to cost principles

• Project management skills, handling several projects and potentially OEM clients simultaneously

• Must be comfortable to present product concepts and share ideas in groups and in front of customers

• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken), if able to speak in German/Spanish is a plus

• Frequent travel to China and other countries may required
