Responsibilities

• Support for yarn sourcing and new development globally

• Follow up new yarn development status and supply base management, build and maintain supplier relationships

• Work closely with spinners keeping offshore and UK buying offices updated on progress

• Maintain on time seasonal critical path for new quality swatch requests

• Managing and organizing yarn swatch library

• Progress and following up on yarn price negotiations with merchandising teams across territories, consolidating information for all counties

• Preparing seasonal yarn book swatches and supporting seasonal yarn trend presentations

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Minimum 5-8 year experience in either product development or merchandising

• Strong fashion sense

• Technical understanding of yarn and sweater knits

• Knowledge about yarn and technical in sweater

• Organized and self-motivated, able to work to meet tight deadlines

• Ability to think and work independently as well as part of a team

• Creative, perceptive and open to new ideas from different channels

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of people including buyers and suppliers

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, knowledge of Putonghua is advantageous

• Immediately available is preferred
