Responsibilities

• Developing the silver and fashion jewelry collections

• Sourcing finishedproducts and components suppliers

• Monitor quality and manage suppliers to make sure supplies are in accordanceto the requirements

• Visit factories, exhibitions & fairs

• Monitor the suppliers follow the materialspecification, standards, testing and validation

• Handle quotations and development samples 

• Developing of a suitable suppliers' strategy and roadmap

• Liaise, work and follow up closely with Region/ Headquarter in terms of stock request and other related merchandising and stock issues

• Negotiate allocation with Region/ HQ to meet assortment and firm orders' needs

• Report toSenior Merchandising Manager & Managing Director

Requirements

• DSE / Form 7 or above

• Experience in silver & fashion jewelry development or purchasing is preferred

• Position will be based on experience 

• Organized, systematicoriented and efficient, with a strongsense of responsibility and excellent team work spirit

• Ability to pay attention todetails and cautionto accuracy

• Project management skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin

• Familiar in using of MS Office

• Knowledge of SAP system will be considered as an advantage

• Travel to factories in China or Asia may required
