Responsibilities

• Handle full-range purchasing duties, including new product development and sourcing

• Stay updated on new trends and technologies in the industry

• Select and develop new suppliers

• Directly engage with factories in China for production, shipment, and ensuring on-time delivery

• Communicate with different entities for product development and coordinate production

• Manage supplier performance and negotiate prices

• Follow up on orders, oversee the procurement process, and arrange shipments

• Regularly visit factories to assess supplier capabilities

• Monitor quality control inspections and results

• Coordinate with the project team on-site for Asia projects

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or Engineering

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in international trade business; buying office

• Familiarity with lighting or smart LED products

• Experience in interior decoration or festive decoration for commercial use is an advantage

• Affinity for working with different materials

• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)

• Well-organized and detail-oriented

• Ability to handle and follow up on multiple tasks independently within timelines

• Proactive with a "can-do" attitude, excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, and other formula functions)
