We are currently looking for a Risk Management Officer for our clients' business development at a renowned global banking company.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in banking operations, operational risk management, business continuity management, and third-party risk management;
- Strong knowledge of RCSA, KRI monitoring, incident management, BCP, and BIA;
- Organize and support risk committees and related meetings;
- Assist with reporting, communication, and engagement efforts to ensure the Bank complies with regulatory requirements;
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of relevant policies and procedures;
- Provide administrative support and participate in ad-hoc projects as necessary;
Operational Risk Management:
- Support business and function in applying the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) and tools to help identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks;
- Perform assessments to identify potential operational risks, offer solutions to address control weaknesses, and monitor the progress of remedial actions;
- Knowledge of HKMA SPM-OR1 requirements is an advantage;
Business Continuity Management:
- Assist in the implementation of Operational Resilience;
- Provide assistance in arranging incident recovery strategies;
- Develop and manage program governance and communications for senior management and key stakeholders across the bank;
- Knowledge of HKMA SPM-OR2 and TMG2 requirements is an advantage;
Third-Party Risk Management:
- Assist with the implementation of outsourcing and vendor management;
- Maintain the register of third-party service providers;
- Knowledge of HKMA SPM-SA2 requirements is an advantage;
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with 1-3 years of experience in banking operations and risk management.
- Strong learning capability, communication skills, and the ability to stay motivated and perform well under pressure.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Holding an Associate Operational Risk Management Professional (AORP) or Certified Operational Risk Management Professional (CORP) certification is a plus.
