Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking the Finance Director responsible for managing all aspects of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting operations, and payment processes to support the company’s business goals. This role ensures the financial health and accuracy of the company, maintains proper internal financial controls, and enforces financial discipline. Also provide full range of company secretarial services and support all shareholder-related activities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all general accounting, financial operations, annual budgeting and forecasting, and tax advisory services to the company
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
- Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain strong internal controls per regulatory requirements (HKMA).
- Monitor financial performance and prepare monthly flash P&L forecasts.
- Safeguard company assets and conduct annual fixed assets inventory checks.
- Predict and manage cash flow to meet daily settlement and payment schedules.
- Oversee accounting reconciliations to ensure accurate settlement amounts and fee charges.
- Handle financial audits to ensure clear audit reports.
- Provide full range of company secretarial services and support all Shareholder-related activities (e.g. including AGMs, EGMs, and resolutions.)
- Maintain proper documentation and prepare necessary MIS reports.
Requirements
- University graduate in Finance or Accounting with a qualification from HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience, with 5 years in a management role in financial management, financial reporting, financial control, and company secretarial duties.
- Experience in banking or financial services is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong business acumen, and attention to detail.
- Strong ownership, responsibility, influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
