Good understanding of China CFDA / NMPA requirements (definitely a plus)
Position Overview:
Our client is a reputable Multinational National Company (NMC) specialising to Bio-Technical and Life-science. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a critical role in overseeing the company's day-to-day operations and ensuring the successful execution of our strategic initiatives. The COO will work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive operational excellence, enhance organizational efficiency, and support the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Oversee daily operations, including research and development, manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of department heads and managers.
Ensure efficient allocation of resources and optimize operational processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute business plans and budgets.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Good understanding of China CFDA / NMPA requirements (definitely a plus)
Represent the company in meetings with stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
Strong understanding of the biotechnology landscape, including research and development, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive organizational change.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
