Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their team. This role focuses primarily on corporate credit control, policy review, compliance, background checks, and the setup of new corporate customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to credit management.



Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough credit reviews and risk assessments for new corporate clients.
* Develop and maintain credit control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Perform background checks on potential corporate customers to assess creditworthiness.
* Manage the setup of new corporate clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new clients into the system.
* Monitor existing accounts for compliance and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
* Provide regular reports on credit control activities and client status to management.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* At least 4 years of credit control experience in the distribution or trading industry, with hands-on experience in client setup and credit processes.
* Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
* Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Immediate availability preferred.
