Job description

Responsibilities

Oversee the reinsurance department and develop strategies to meet growth objectives, create new business opportunities, and ensure client retention
Provide reinsurance solutions to clients and maintain relationships with clients for business development
Negotiate and manage effective contracts made with customers or partners
Ensure client needs & expectations are met and manage overall service delivery to agreed standards

Requirements:

10 years or above experience in reinsurance, broker or insurance firm industry
Minimum 3 years at managerial level
Experience in the general insurance business
Understanding and having related experience in the Asia Pacific Market
May require travel to mainland and APAC countries
Excellent management, communication and negotiation skills
Excellent network in the reinsurance industry would be an advantage
Less experience may also be considered as Assistant General Manager
