Job Description:
As a Construction Officer (COW), you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring that the project is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all relevant regulations and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the project stays on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor safety practices on site and enforce adherence to safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess progress and quality of work.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities and report on project progress.
- Assist in resource management, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience as a Construction Officer, preferably in commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.
- Immediate availability is a significant advantage.
