Job Description:
As a Senior Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to promote a culture of safety and to minimize risks associated with our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans for on-site and in-house housing projects.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide leadership and training to staff on safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into all phases of project planning and execution.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective action.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure safety compliance and promote safety initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in safety management, with a focus on housing projects.
- Proven experience in both on-site and in-house safety environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RSO, RSA) are required.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Good Command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese is a must.
