Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Contract Manager in the preparation and administration of contracts.
- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Manage the claims process, including documentation, negotiation, and resolution of disputes.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to provide contractual advice and support.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to contractual timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare and maintain contract documentation, including variations, claims, and correspondence.
- Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and forecasts related to contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in contracting and claims management, preferably with a main contractor.
- Charter membership of HKIS or RICS is essential.
- Experience in civil projects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and construction management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Good command of both English AND Cantonese is a must.
