Responsibilities
Provide technical support for all aspects of the back end IT infrastructure and help desk including:
- Windows Active Directory
- Virtualized servers (VMWare)
- Storage Area Network (HP MSA)
- Network firewalls (SonicWall), switches
- Connectivity infrastructure
Perform performance management and capacity planning
Evaluate, analyze, design and implement new projects in IT infrastructure
Management of disaster recovery planning and ensure smooth cutover during outages
Co-ordinate with IT vendors to deploy appropriate hardware, network devices and software solutions
Participate in an after-hours, rotating support duty roster to remotely provide technical support during critical system outages
Requirements
DSE / Form 5 or above
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure technical design and support
Certification in VCP5 (VMware Certified Professional), MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) is preferred
Experience in using VMware vCenter for virtualization management
Technical support experience in SAN (HP MSA)
Hands on experience on Networking, VPN, Microsoft Active Directory & MS Exchange Server
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated and multitasking
Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
