Our client is one of the largest life insurance companies, looking for a Senior Manager to support statutory reporting, including financial statements and insurance returns.
Responsibilities:
* Adhere to HKFRS and RBC, and perform analyses on insurance returns as well as financial reports, including financial statements.
* Support monthly bookings and provide analytical support to management on financial data.
* Ensure proper processes and controls to deliver all financial reports and deliverable with high quality in a timely manner.
* Provide guidance and technical advice to other functions and business units.
* Drive continuous enhancements in process efficiency, automation, internal control over financial reporting, standard setting, and quality analyses.
* Manage projects and change initiatives related to financial and regulatory reporting.
* Support stakeholder management by delivering value propositions to relevant internal and external stakeholders and aiding business and financial performance management.
* Perform other ad-hoc duties periodically assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
* Qualified accountant preferred, with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in the insurance industry.
* Big Four candidates with an insurance audit background are welcome.
* Excellent analytical, self-driven individual with a proactive attitude.
* Good command of spoken English and Chinese.
