General Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Asia Operations team. This role will support the Director of Operations Digital and Automation Lead, focusing on KPI automation, data projects, and process optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, leveraging the latest tools and technologies to drive digital transformation and automation initiatives across the region.
Key responsibilities will include:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather detailed requirements
- Work with technical engineers to implement the solutions and test the result.
- Analyze and document business processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
Tool Mastery and Utilization:
- Stay updated with the latest digital and automation tools and technologies.
- Apply these tools to enhance business processes and drive innovation.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for processes, requirements, and project outcomes.
- Ensure all solutions comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights that support decision-making.
- Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
Project Inventory:
- Create and maintain project assets, such as websites and wikis, to ensure transparency, visibility and consistency.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Operations, and Business Units, to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Problems / Challenges:
- Change management: Overcome reluctance to new technologies or processes. Develop and implement effective change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
- Complexity: Manage the complexity and scope of large-scale transformation projects that may span multiple departments and functions.
- Alignment Across Departments: Ensure cross functional alignment and collaboration, , address potential conflicts or misalignments that may arise during projects.

Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data, process optimization & automation projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, Viso, PowerPoint and Power Platform Suites or similar tools.
- Self-motivated, independent with minimal supervision and excellent interpersonal skills
- Execution focused with a keen problem-solving mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in Chinese, including both speaking and writing Mandarin, is required.
