Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage project budgets, cash flow, and financial performance.
  • Ensure cost control measures are implemented and adhered to.
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.).
  • Ensure contractual compliance and monitor obligations.
  • Manage and mentor quantity surveyors and commercial staff.
  • Promote a culture of commercial awareness and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Chartered status (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management within a main contracting environment.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.
