A leading Company in Hong Kong, they are looking for Assistant Quality Manager (~40K, GBA, Manufacturing). Less Experience could be considered as Senior Quality Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Oversight: Monitor production quality for NPI and mass production (MP) stages, focusing on metal stamping and plastic molding.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate defects using production reports, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Standards Development: Benchmark industry practices to enhance QC protocols and align with ISO/six sigma standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with R&D, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks in NPI/MP to prevent defects.
- Customer Focus: Address complaints, draft improvement plans, and submit formal 8D reports.
- Project Support: Lead/ad-hoc quality initiatives (e.g., process optimization, audits).
Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
- Quality Engineer: 2+ years in QC, preferably in metal/plastic manufacturing.
- Senior Role: 5+ years with leadership experience (considered for higher title).
- Skills:
- Knowledge of QC tools (FMEA, SPC), ISO 9001, and six sigma (Green Belt preferred).
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin for cross-functional/customer communication.
- Work Location: Based full-time at the Guangdong factory.
