The appointee will be assigned to the Centre's Administrative Support Section, and will be responsible for
- (a) assisting in accounting, contract management for hardware maintenance and software license related matters;
- (b) maintaining asset records;
- (c) providing counter services;
- (d) handling enquiries;
- (e) providing general administrative and operational support for the Office;
- (f) co-ordinationg workmen's duties and leave schedule; and
- (g) performing other tasks as assigned. In-house training will be provided.
Applicants should have
- (i) completed secondary education, preferably with post-secondary qualification(s);
- (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects;
- (iii) fast and accurate English and Chinese word-processing skills;
- (iv) a good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- (v) high proficiency in MS Office (including Word,Excel and PowerPoint) and other Windows applications; and
- (vi) good communication skills and service attitude; and
- (vii) the ability to work as an effective team member and under pressure. Having relevant work experience will be advantageous.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
