Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Finance Director, overseeing all financial reporting, analysis, and accounting inquiries related to real estate assets in various locations.
- Formulate the annual budget and manage rolling forecasts.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial and accounting strategies.
- Compile and prepare internal reports for management assessment.
- Generate periodic financial statements, including income and expenditure reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Supervise the annual audit process and support all tax-related matters.
- Offer insights and recommendations to enhance revenue quality, minimize costs, and maximize profitability.
- Assist in drafting investment proposals and new business models, identifying potential risks and opportunities as necessary.
- Develop detailed business cases with the relevant supporting documentation.
- Ensure the precision, completeness, and punctuality of all financial reports.
- Guarantee compliance with IFRS standards and Group Policies.
- Execute company secretarial responsibilities and manage communications with internal teams and external parties as needed.
- Work closely with various professionals, including auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, and valuers.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, along with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, HKICPA, ACCA) is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management and commercial roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position within large organizations.
- Demonstrated capability in managing a complete set of accounts and producing monthly financial statements.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting.
- Knowledge of HK/PRC/overseas accounting standards, tax regulations, and related compliance is advantageous.
- Proficient in financial modeling, complemented by a robust analytical mindset.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and diligent, with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Possess solid commercial insight, with effective problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
