Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service level to train service or depot service through technical support on maintenance activities of rolling stock

• Prepare budget planning and cost control for maintenance activities, as well as capital and revenue works through asset management techniques

• Conduct asset condition assessment on rolling stock equipment and provide recommendations to sustain and extend asset life

• Oversee and manage project activities according to timeline and budget, coordinate with stakeholders to achieve project objectives, and assist in implementation of projects, productivity initiatives and train performance improvement initiatives

• Lead the development of modification works, conduct the design works, plan and schedule the implementation works and monitor the progress

• Conduct technical investigations, evaluate the reliability and performance on electric passenger train and develop recommendations to enhance safety, reliability and performance

• Relieve shift duties of Maintenance Engineer as Duty Engineer In-Charge, and lead a team during incident handling and emergency rescue, e.g. re-railment operation for EMU and other rolling stocks

• Conduct studies of maintenance strategy and technology development, train availability review as well as safety and quality Management system development

Requirements

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

• A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience, of which 2 years at supervisor level

• Self-motivated, good analytical ability and interpersonal skills 

Remarks

• Working Location: Kowloon Bay, Tseung Kwan O and Tsuen Wan

• Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
