Responsibilities

• Working closely with Italy design/PD teams, suppliers and factories for leather development for fashion handbag sampling and production

• Sourcing right suppliers to meet quality, pricing and deliveries

• Reviewing leather colors for sampling and production

• Approving sample and bulk production leather 

• Conducting quality inspection of sample and bulk production leather

• Following up leather tests to meet customer requirements

• Tracking delivery status and shipments

• Providing technical advice to resolve problems in leather development

• Sourcing and developing other materials and hardware for handbag sampling and production (if possess prior and relevant experience)

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• No less than 10 years’ experience of product development of branded leather handbag & small leather goods

• Experience of working directly with overseas designers for product development execution 

• Excellent technical knowledge of construction & production process of leather fashion handbag & small leather goods

• Good knowledge of materials including leather, trims & hardware, etc

• Familiar with fashion trends of handbags & small leather goods 

• Good communication skills, well organized & a team player

• Good command of English, good spoken Putonghua
