Our client is a reputable local life insurer seeking an Assistant Treasury Manager to join their stable, collaborative, and supportive finance team. This role is essential for overseeing treasury operations and ensuring the effectiveness of financial processes.



Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily treasury oeprations, such as cashflow reports, accounts payable, and payment processing.
* Perform account reconciliations and generate accounts payable reports.
* Create and execute treasury strategies aimed at optimizing financial performance and strengthening internal controls.
* Work closely with internal and external auditors, as well as banking partners.
* Mentor and guide junior staff members.
* Engage in projects focused on system enhancements.



Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 7 years of work experience with a solid treasury background in the insurance sector.
* Previous experience in a checker role is a significant advantage.
* Proven leadership skills and a track record of effective team collaboration.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
