DNA Recruit Partners is partnering up with a well-established Japanese general insurance group, renowned for its strong global presence and diversified product offerings, to seek a high-calibre talent to join their expanding Hong Kong team as a Senior Officer – Marketing Department. This role focuses on driving the general insurance business through strategic planning, client engagement, and underwriting expertise. Less experienced candidates will be considered as Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement sales strategies and plans to grow the general insurance business through intermediary channels.
- Identify potential business opportunities, propose customized solutions, and offer value-added services to corporate clients directly.
- Collaborate closely with in-house underwriters to perform prudent underwriting decisions, utilizing solid knowledge in risk management, underwriting principles, and policy terms & conditions.
- Prepare client proposals, presentation materials, regular reports, and data analysis.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure seamless collaboration with team members.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments as required.
- Actively contribute to fostering a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture.
Requirements:
- Degree holder, with recognized insurance professional qualifications (such as ANZIIF / ACII) as an advantage.
- Holder of valid General Insurance License (IIQE Paper 1 & 2 required).
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and preferably Japanese.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the General Insurance industry.
- Broad knowledge of commercial lines (Property & Casualty), with exposure to Marine Cargo, Medical, or Financial lines being a definite advantage.
- Strong presentation, client-facing, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-minded, proactive, and a good team player.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
