Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies to boost engagement, traffic, and audience growth.
Manage platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Create and schedule breaking news, feature stories, videos, and graphics.
Monitor trends and real time news for timely, relevant posts.
Collaborate with reporters and editors to optimize content for social media.
Analyze performance metrics and provide a ctionable insights.
Manage social media ad campaigns and audience engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, or related field.
Proven experience in social media, preferably in news/media.
Strong news judgment and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in social media tools and analytics.
Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe).
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Have KOL sense.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of SEO and audience deve lopment.
Familiarity with CMS and breaking news workflows.
Experience with paid social media advertising.
