Responsibilities:
- To conduct equipment racks provisioning works such as rack setup, rack/equipment power connections, network & fiber cabling,etc
- To install/maintain electrical facilities such as electric power cable, PDU, breaker etc
- To carry out data centre daily operation works according to SOP (standard operation procedures), equipment fault handling, ensure the data centre operation is within SLA and work close with our 24x7 SOC, contractors or vendors
- To support the execution of planned activities such as equipment maintenance which may be in non-office hour
The primary work location is at the data centre in Ap Lei Chau, Hong Kong Island, and occasionally required to work in data centres in other districts
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related disciplines
- Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A or above)
- 2-3 years’ experience in Data Centre or related areas
- Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
