Job Description:

• Underwrite a variety of general insurance products with technical proficiency.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing existing portfolios to achieve sales and retention targets.

• Cultivate strong relationships with potential and current brokers through regular engagement.

• Optimize sales revenue within established underwriting guidelines.

• Mentor and supervise team members, fostering their skills and professional growth.

• Analyze key business performance indicators (e.g., loss ratio, growth rate) and provide insightful recommendations to management

• Identify opportunities to improve existing products and processes.
  Analyze claims data to identify trends and potential underwriting improvements.
  Prepare accurate account summaries and management reports.

Requirements:

• University degree Holder

• Recognized insurance certifications (ANZIIF, ACII, or equivalent).

• Minimum 10 years of general insurance experience, with expertise in underwriting, servicing, and marketing through international brokers, with Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.

• In-depth knowledge of specific insurance lines (e.g., property, casualty, marine)

• Proven success in broker relationship management.

• Experience in developing underwriting guidelines and pricing models.

• Fluency in English and Cantonese (written and spoken).

• Strong market awareness and intelligence.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).

• Self-motivated with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
