Our client is a leading insurer seeking a Senior Risk Manager for their team. This key leadership role is essential in ensuring that operational practices align with regulatory standards while effectively managing operational risks, primarily focusing on the first line of defense.
Responsibilities:
* Lead review processes for RCSA, audits, and regulatory assessments specific to the insurance sector
* Design and implement Quality Assurance programs to uphold industry standards and enhance operational performance
* Oversee Key Risk Indicators to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of operations
* Prepare comprehensive local and group reporting documentation
* Provide strategic guidance on key projects, ensuring compliance and risk management are prioritized
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate compliance risks
* Conduct training sessions to foster a culture of service excellence within operations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline
* Qualified accountant preferred, with minimum of 10 years of work experience with a solid auditing, risk management, or compliance background in the insurance sector
* Excellent knowledge of insurance operations and regulatory requirements
* Big 4 candidates with an insurance background are welcome
* Smart, self-driven individual with a proactive attitude
* Good command of spoken English and Chinese
* Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager
